At just 5km from our hamlet, The Bosco della Ragnaia is a woodland park perfect to escape the summer heat. The American artist Sheppard Craige started his work in 1996 and he is still expanding the gardens.

Unesco World Heritage Site, located on top of a hill is a strange and fascinating church in Val d'Orcia.

It opened on the new theater season "Leggieri d' Inverno" 2014/2015 which will last until April 30. "All ready for a big trip in a small theater" is the slogan of this year's festival.

In our area there are two wonderful old trees: The Magpies' Oak south of Pienza and the big holm on the Pieve a Salti road. Perfect places to organize a picnic with friends.

Beneath the waves, the sea surrounding Elba has treasures just waiting to be discovered: colorful fish and marine life and sunken ships which have been resting on the sea floor for centuries. The diving center is just 150 m from the hotel.

Right near Castiglione Vetulonia is another area of great archaeological importance where viistare the graves of Pietrera and Diavolino still well kept and the archaeological museum is open all year.
