The 18th-century doorway of Palazzo De Castro leads to a large courtyard and grand staircase, topped by the coat of arms belonging to the noble family that owns the palazzo, depicting 5 towers arranged in a cross pattern.
Open the antique 19th-century doors in gold leaf with their original keyholes, and you'll feel transported directly 200 years into the past.
Warm yourself in front of the roaring fireplace in the elegant communal salon, relax on the luxurious sofa, and enjoy your vacation in this timeless place!
The Luxury of the Past
Contessa, Viceré, Ancella, Don Francisco, Donna Rita, and Notabili: sumptuous Baroque-style rooms, decorated with period furniture primarily from the beginning of the 1900s, frescoed ceilings, and oil paintings.
Every detail has been carefully curated, blending historic elegance with the functionality of modern amenities, including free Wi-Fi, memory foam mattresses, and flat-screen TVs, along with hand-embroidered linens.
In the historic Contessa room, the original vanity table where noble ladies would once arrange their intricate hairstyles still stands. The room also has its original flooring and two guard windows once used to check on any movement outside the palazzo.
