Castello di Postignano Relais
(Residences) Postignano
Unforgettable Umbria
Three reasons why you'll love it here
- A house, a hamlet, and good services just for you
- Regional treats c/o Restaurant Casa Rosa
- The best of Umbria is on your doorstep
A cluster of houses grouped around a central tower and a pretty frescoed church, the magnificently restored medieval hamlet of Castello di Postignano Relais is one of the best-kept secrets of Umbria and one of the region's most exclusive country residences.
At home in Umbria
They're called suites, but Castello di Postignano's guest rooms are, in reality, apartments: gorgeous one or two-bedroom apartments featuring the exposed ceiling beams, handcrafted wooden furniture and large open fireplaces typical of Umbria's traditional country homes, in Comfort, Deluxe and Superior versions, some with a terrace.
After a peaceful night's sleep, wake to the sound of birdsong and the sweet scent of the sun-kissed Umbrian countryside surrounding Castello di Postignano: if you're looking for paradise on earth, you've found it!
The hamlet is now a relais and cultural center, with a frescoed church, a pool with sun terrace and a wellness center.
Inside or out?
The heart of Castello di Postignano is Casa Rosa, the restaurant located right at the center of the hamlet. This is where the kitchen team performs its culinary magic each night, conjuring up delicious Umbrian dishes to be served in the dining room or outdoors, on the terrace overlooking the glorious green hills of the Valnerina.
Besides Casa Rosa, the hamlet also offers La Terrazza Café for breaks and aperitifs with a view of the valley, La Tavola Rossa for dinners and private events, and L'Antico Forno for pizza and snacks.
