In Arezzo, while walking along art galleries and antiquities shops be curious and enter Palazzo de' Giudici, Via Cavour 23. In this XVIII century old palace a surprising new world is waiting for you: Patio.
The Hotel Patio began its activity in December 2001 following a careful and refined restructuring of the Palazzo de' Giudici. Alessandro Severi, entrepreneur and owner of the historical residence, in collaboration with qualified and specialised architects undertook a decidedly ambitious project: that of combining the charm of a fine old Tuscan building, situated in one of the most elegant streets of the historical centre of Arezzo, with the innovative concept of rooms inspired by the fabulous adventures of Bruce Chatwin, a writer of international fame but more especially, a great traveller. The choice immediately revealed itself as a winner, and the curious proposals of the hotel are today conducted by his sister Alessandra who defines it as a journey within a journey.
Hotel Patio is the perfect place to be for globe trotters, mind travellers, and for those who find travelling a tiring...dejà vu.
Visit the 7 suites and bedrooms: each of them is dedicated to one of Bruce Chatwin famous books and decorated with original forniture from the country it represents.?At Patio you will find yourself in China with the Emperor Wu-Ti and even in Australia, in the purple atmosphere of a sunset in the desert.
