Owner, Emilia Esposito, would have been hard-stretched to find a more apt name for her hotel than "Le Terrazze". For centuries, Italy's Amalfi Coast has been one of the world's most sought-after seaside holiday destinations. In the 1960's, the small beach of Conca dei Marini became a favorite among discerning members of the international jet set, and divas the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy and Sophia Loren were frequently spotted here.
Today's holidaymakers are still able to relish the peace and quiet of Conca dei Marini whilst, at the same time, having access to a whole range of tourist services, from boat and kayak rental to excursions with the local fishermen and visits to the nearby Grotta dello Smeraldo, situated in an inlet not far from the main beach.
