Time to be inspired

Hotel interiors were inspired by the works of Mariano Fortuny: the Spanish artist, architect and dress designer who moved to Venice in 1889 and made the historic Palazzo Pesaro-Orfei his home. From here his unique "Fortuny style" spread throughout Europe.

Furniture and textiles from the Mediterranean and the Far East give the nine rooms, all with en-suite bathroom, an eclectic and exotic character.

Novecento owners, Gioele and Heiby Romanelli, travelled the world in their quest to find the perfect items for their hotel's bedrooms, and came home laden with hand woven textiles from Pakistan, low slung beds from Thailand, rugs from Turkey and lanterns from Marocco

The addition of the very latest in-room amenities and technology ensures maximum comfort.

When not off visiting Venice's museums and art galleries, guests might easily be found relaxing in the hotel's sitting room, browsing through papers or enjoying a drink from the well-stocked honesty bar.
