A tale worth telling

Although first recorded mention of the "Locanda della Luna" dates back to 1574, it's thought that as early as 1118, the Knights Templar sought shelter here, prior to their departure for the Holy Land.

One thing is certain and that's that in the 18th century, students of the great painter Giambattista Tiepolo embellished the Salone Marco Polo with ornate frescoes, the restoration of which has returned them to all their original splendor.
