"Parva sed apta mihi" - a place that is perfect for us. A place like Casa Parva. A one-bedroom guest house in Tuscany in which you can expect to experience the warmest of welcomes and, at the same time, enjoy a taste of life in Montisi, the lovely medieval village between Val d'Orcia, Crete Senesi and Valdichiana.

Welcome home

That's how you feel as soon as you walk in the door of this little guest house, which not only looks, but feels, just like a private home. At Casa Parva you'll find shelves stacked high with books and travel souvenirs, walls hung with prints and paintings and, in every room of the house, beautiful items of antique furniture.

Tuscan inside and out

Massive stone walls, thick wooden ceiling beams, terracotta floors: Casa Parva is just the way a home-from-home in Tuscany should be. A house which conserves the traces of its ancient past top perfection, whilst offering all the comforts of a modern home.

The living room provides the perfect chill-out space, where you can relax whilst reading a good book, watching a DVD (but not television!), or listening to music - a glass of good Tuscan wine in hand

An antique stairway leads up to the second floor and the bedroom. The same attention to detail which characterizes the downstairs can be seen here too: a latex mattress, linen sheets, a selection of pillows and, next door, a little study complete with laptop (Wi-Fi is available throughout the guest house).

In the kitchen

You're in Italy. More precisely, you're in Tuscany, where the most important room in any house has to be... the kitchen! In Casa Parva's kitchen you'll find everything you might possibly need to conjure up a veritable Tuscan feast. Don't know where to begin? Ask to be given a hands-on cooking lesson!

Next step? Invite your friends to dinner (the kitchen table is large enough for eight people). If you'd rather somebody else did the cooking while you concentrate on the eating, you can always request the services of a personal chef instead.
