Campo Regio Relais Siena

Campo Regio Relais is a charming luxury hotel located within the walls of the historic center of Siena. Guests sojourn in exquisitely decorated bedrooms and suites, all of which feature unique items of antique furniture, beautiful embroidered linen, and soft drapes.

From the terrace of the hotel and from the veranda, where a generous buffet breakfast is served each morning, breathtaking views of the medieval city can be admired. In fact, from Campo Regio Relais a number of Siena's most famous buildings can be clearly seen; great works of medieval architecture such as the Church of San Domenico, the Sanctuary of Santa Caterina, the Torre del Mangia and Siena Cathedral.

Via della Sapienza, the road on which the Campo Regio Relais is situated, was once one of the major thoroughfares of the old medieval city and home to all the principal faculties of the city's university and the Intronati library. The library, right next door to the hotel, still functions to this very day and is a fascinating place to visit, in virtue of both the incredible collection of valuable volumes housed here and the building itself.

Within easy walking distance of the hotel, guests find the Piazza del Campo; the immense square which, twice a year, provides the stage for the spectacular Palio horse race.
