The 5 swimming pools where the Thalassotherapy is performed, all of which vary in form and therapeutic purpose, are located in a fascinating artificial cave. The pools are filled with heated sea water collected some 900 meters from the coast.

The Chef personally selects the freshest ingredients, all of which sourced locally. Extra virgin olive oil from the Castagneto Carducci oil press, cheeses and and fish from the Gulf of Baratti are just some of the prime ingredients used as the basis for the delectable menus.
At Wine Bar an excellent selection of Italian and International wines including 300 labels from the various wine growing regions of Italy ensures the perfect accompaniment to every meal. Particular emphasis is given to Tuscan wines.
Just a few steps away from the gardens of the Tombolo Talasso Resort, 200 meters of sandy beach equipped with beach umbrellas, sun beds and teak chairs, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the sun and sea in a pleasant and reserved atmosphere. Immersed in the green of the coastal pine trees, the sea water swimming pool enjoys a privileged position allowing complete privacy. Refreshing drinks and appetizing brunches are served at the poolside bar.

By air: Pisa airport is 45 minutes way. Florence airport can be reached in an hour and 30 minutes.
By train: the railway station of Donoratico-Castagneto Carducci is linked with the railway line serving all the major Italian cities.
By car: the Tombolo Talasso Resort is located within easy reach of the Donoratico exit of the Aurelia highroad from Rome to Genoa.
