But the Venetians are also extremely fond of specialities using mussels, crabs, sole, gilthead and many other varieties of fish and seafood. Whilst the liver dish “fegatini alla Veneziana” has become famous worldwide, few people know of the lagoon dwellers passion for game birds such as duck, goose, and pidgeon.
