Montorio Countryside Residences
Montorio boasts a glorious hilltop position, just steps away from the medieval town of Montepulciano and with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside of the Val d'Orcia.
The building, dating back to the early 15th century, was originally a convent. In more recent times the building was used as private country residence, before being transformed in guest accommodation. Montorio is now comprised of 5 beautifully appointed one and two bedroom apartments all finely furnished and equipped with every comfort.
"Antonio da Sangallo" apartment, the largest of the five Montorio's apartments, with two bedrooms, ample living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, storage room and large bathroom, boasts breathtaking 360° views of the valley below.
Accessed via a small private courtyard, the "Agnolo Polizano" apartment with two double bedrooms, living room with kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower, offers the utmost in privacy.
'''"S.Roberto Bellarmino" is an extremely welcoming one bedroom apartment with living room, dining area, kitchenette and bathroom with shower.
The one bedroom apartment, "S Agnese Segni", enjoys a position in the building which guarantees a refreshingly cool inside temperature during the hot Italian summer months and a delightfully warm hideaway in winter.
Ideal for those guests wishing to stay for just a night or two in Montepulciano, the "Francesco Redi" apartment is the smallest of the Montorio's guest accommodations, comprised of compact living room with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom with shower.
A spacious terraced area surrounds the property and offers the perfect place where to bask in the Tuscan sun or relax in the shade of the garden's cypress and olive trees.
Montorio Location

Guests travelling from the South along the A1 motorway should take the Chiusi-Chianciano exit from where to proceed towards Montepulciano and on to San Biagio.
