Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco is a charming Tuscan retreat, situated in the countryside just outside the Medieval city of Arezzo and within easy driving distance of both Florence and Siena.
Ten beautifully furnished apartments have been created in the recently restored 18th century manor house and the adjacent group of early 19th century outbuildings.
The Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco's restaurant occupies a fascinating building once used as the stables of the estate. Here guests enjoy delicious Tuscan cuisine accompanied by a selection of the region's wines. In the summer months, meals are served outside on the patio overlooking the garden.
Highly appraised vintages of Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Nobile di Montepulciano are housed in the old cellar, alongside a number of excellent wines produced from the grapes grown in the surrounding vineyards, including the full bodied Tenorio della Foresteria. In addition to wine, the Foresteria also produces an extremely high quality olive oil, obtained from the estate's olive groves.
The gardens of the Foresteria Il Giardino di Fontarronco provide a beautiful setting for the property's large swimming pool with hydromassage facility.
