The nine holes course of the Golf Club Lamborghini, which was designEd by Eng. Ferruccio Lamborghini, stretches over a beautiful, hilly landscape close to Lake Trasimeno. Recent changes in its design make the course much more challeging to today's golfers, inviting experts alike to its greens. Apart from the standard 9 holes, there is a large driving range with lighted putting and pitching greens where the Club's Golf School is operating. The entire Golf course is dominated by a modern and comfortable Club House. There is a Pro Shop with a large variety of golfing accessories and a Bar.

The Golf Club Perugia is situated only 3 miles from the center of the historic city of Perugia. The course is gently undulating parkland - Par 72 - SSS 70 - 6,272 yards in length, redesigned by the Architect Davide Mezzacane and increased to 18 holes in the early nineties.The holes are not exceptionally long, but the rich vegetation, and mature trees lining many fairways call for precision, particularly with the drive, and on the fast, undulating greens.

The Hotel Villa di Monte Solare has its own beauty centre and spa, called "Le Muse". The hotel's spa is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday: the beauty centre offers all kind of treatments and massages, with special programmes tailored for your specific needs: from beauty treatments to relaxing massage, from health treatments to energy harmonizing.

Villa di Monte Solare offers a enjoyable cookery course on the traditional Umbro-Tuscan cuisine. The 3 day (2 overnights) programme includes 1 enjoyable cookery class and 1 gourmet dinner at our restaurant "Dolium".

Day one Arrival at Villa di Monte Solare. Welcome drink and presentation of the programme. Gourmet dinner at our restaurant "Dolium".

Day two After breakfast, you will start your cookery class at 10.00am. The hands-on course provides an excellent insight into the preparation of exquisite regional dishes as well as traditional cooking methods. The course has a duration of approximately 3 hours and will be followed by a joint meal. At the end, participants will be provided with a specific recipe booklet on the produced meals.

Day three After breakfast departure.

The price includes everything described in the programme, 2 overnights in double room and continental breakfast, 1 dinner at our restaurant, 1 cookery classes with a duration of 3 hours each with all necessary material and information and subsequent meals. The price does not include any further services other than described in the programme such as transfers (tours are self-guided), other drinks and anything not mentioned in the programme.

N.B.: The cookery classes are conducted by chefs of the cooking school Alta Società under the special direction of Mr. Andrea Sposini.

Cycle through the soft Umbrian hills, passing olive groves and vineyards, visiting charming mediaeval towns like Panicale, Paciano and Città della Pieve, enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Trasimeno and the "Oasi la Valle" nature reserve. We provide maps and directions so that you can enjoy the countryside at your own pace. Then, in the afternoon, we will bring you back to the Hotel, and you will have time to relax before a delicious dinner.

Day One Arrival at Villa di Monte Solare. Welcome drink. Presentation of the programme and dinner.

Day Two After breakfast you start directly from the hotel. Passing the small villages of Fontignano and Mugnano, up and down the soft hills with olive groves and vineyards, you reach the shores of Lake Trasimeno where you can visit the "Oasi la Valle" nature reserve. In this peaceful setting, perfect for bird watching, you can take a marvellous walk: a corner of heaven with many species of birds in the reeds. There is also a small museum where you can find out about the nature and ornithology of Lake Trasimeno. From Oasi la Valle you cycle along the southern coast of the lake until Castiglione del Lago, a very picturesque fortified mediaeval town on a peninsula in the lake. Transfer back to the hotel in the afternoon and dinner in the hotel.

Day Three After breakfast you start directly from the hotel to go to Panicale and Paciano, two wonderfully restored medieval villages in a panoramic position above Lake Trasimeno. Here you should stop and visit the frescoes of Il Perugino or simply enjoy the view that Pietro Vannucci "Il Perugino" has painted so often in the background of his paintings: the soft hills around Lake Trasimeno. From here you cycle through the untouched countryside and after a bit of climbing you will reach the native town of Il Perugino, Città della Pieve, where again you can enjoy his paintings or just stroll through the narrow streets and imagine medieval life. In the afternoon transfer back to the Hotel and dinner in the evening.

Day Four Departure after breakfast.
