The Relais La Corte dei Papi's restaurant, located in the ancient villa's wine cellar, with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and traditional terracotta underfoot, offers guests traditional Tuscan dishes featuring fresh meat, fish, and vegetables. Relais La Corte dei Papi is situated in the immediate vicinity of Cortona, the medieval city which straddles the border of Tuscany ad Umbria. The hotel is in the heart of the Valdichiana, and just a short distance away from Lake Trasimeno. From Relais La Corte dei Papi, a great number of Tuscany's principal sites of artistic, cultural and natural interest are within easy driving distance. The wine producing areas of Montepulciano and Montalcino, the historic towns of Pienza and Chianciano Terme and, to the North, the city of Arezzo.

Those travelling to the Relais La Corte dei Papi by car should take the A1 motorway (from the North in the direction of Rome, from Central and Southern Italy in the direction of Florence), exit at Val di Chiana, and proceed towards Cortona until arriving at Mercatale and Pergo.
