The Locanda di San Francesco is situated in the piazza of the same name, in the heart of Montepulciano, between the Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana, historic territories of Tuscany.
For those arriving by ca, the A1 motorway, exit at Valdichiana-Bettole (from the North), exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (from the South). By plane from Pisa and Rome airports head for Florence and the A1 motorway. By train Chiusi railway station and then buses serve Montepulciano.
