The Taormina's Hotel La Plage Resort is located on the Sicily's eastern coastline. Taormina is situated half way between Messina and Catania. Within easy reach of the town one finds the impressive volcano, Etna, the Naxos Gardens, and the Acireale.

Those travelling from the North by car should take the A1 motorway as far as Salerno and proceed along the A3 motorway to Reggio Calabria and Villa San Giovanni from where the Sicily bound ferries depart. Once on the island, the A18 motorway in the direction of Catania leads directly to Taormina. Those travelling by train arrive at Taormina station which, with its exquisite Sicilian Liberty style architecture, is one of Italy's most impressive railway stations.
The nearest airport is the Catania's Fontanarossa International airport (50km from Taormina). A bus service links Taormina with all the principal Sicilian cities as well as the mainland destinations of Rome, Amalfi, Bari, Brindisi and Taranto. Close to Taormina, there is the port of Messina with departures for Salerno, Naples, Rome and Genoa.
