Hotel La Certosa Nerano - Massa Lubrense - Amalfi Coast

Hotel La Certosa is a delightful little hotel located on the beach of Marina del Cantone in Nerano, the small fishing village situated half way between Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Occupying a stunning 15th century palazzo, the hotel conserves many of the building's original features, such as the great arches present on the façade, the vaulted ceilings in the public rooms, and the exquisite majolica floor tiles.

Hotel Certosa is an idyllic hideaway for lovers of the sea, its rooms looking out over the enchanting bay and the crystal clear waters which lap the shores just a few steps away from the hotel. The restaurant offers guests the opportunity to savor a superb selection of local dishes; with particular emphasis being given to the excellent fish and seafood for which the Sorrentine peninsula and the Amalfi Coast are renowned. On the open air terrace overlooking the bay, delicious snacks are served at the "Tre Gradini" bar, which, as its name suggests, is just three steps away from the beach.

La Certosa's large, light filled bedrooms are all decorated in typical Mediterranean fashion: the pale colored walls contrasting beautifully with the colourful majolica floor tiles. Splendid sea views can be enjoyed from almost every room, some of which open out on to small private terraces.
