Expensive wood and shiny varnish, gilt and burnished brass. Light and metal, inspired by the Olympic themes, are the link between the communal areas, rooms and furnishings of the Golden Palace, a structure with two central parts that represents a balanced blend between Contemporary and Art Deco.

The two buildings are called GoldenOne and GoldenTwo. One hundred and ninety-five rooms featuring sophisticated wooden furniture with elegant details in burnished brass and black lacquer and the linearity of the plasma television screens, subdivided into three aesthetic and chromatic types. Gold, Silver and Bronze provide the colour tones of the curtains, of the carpeting, of the polished heads of the beds with their light sprinkling of gold dust, of the upholstery of chairs and writing desks, of the luminaries, realised according to an exclusive design for the Golden Palace.

Suites and a 90-square-metre Presidential Apartment, in the soft, relaxing shades of bronze, green and turtle-dove grey. Facilities further enhanced with scores of conveniences and attention to detail: 32- to 42-inch plasma TV monitors, electrically controlled curtains, exclusive Cibachrome reproductions of works by the painter Giovanni Lombardini, bathrooms surfaced entirely in marble and characterised by the geometry of commodious sinks.
The fifth floor is reserved for the nine spacious Executive Suites, enriched with authentic works by the painter Giovanni Lombardini and marble sculptures by the artist Gianni Manganelli.
The unique Presidential Suite has a very spacious living area, decorated with a special gold wallpaper that is painted and folded by hand for a charming origami effect, a large bedroom, and a marble bathroom with a large tub and shower with sauna.

The "Winner" restaurant. The realm of gourmets at the Golden Palace draws its inspiration from gold medals and Olympic laurels. A tasteful dining room is hidden behind a railing with golden reflections, enveloped in the blond gleam of the pear wood of the large central buffet and the tables. Reflections that are warmed by the natural light radiating from the large bow window looking onto the inner courtyard, to which access is gained down two symmetrical flights of stairs. A relaxing, enjoyable garden where it will be possible to have breakfast and lunch when the weather is pleasant. Minute, elegant floral motifs are repeated in the black and silver fabrics of the hangings and in the comfortable chairs with broad leaf-like backs. The laurels of victory, also echoed in the gilt iron wall lamps.

A temple of relaxation or a much-needed refuge after a strenuous day of work, the Golden Beauty will be able to count on 1100 m2 wholly devoted to well-being, between the reception, a small boutique, an exercise pool with a large relaxation area, cascade and cold mist showers, Turkish bath and sauna, tanning booth, roomy, comfortable cubicles for treatments, and a fitness area with numerous top-of-the-line Technogym machines.
