Tiny jewel of the Amalfi Coast with beautiful minuscule beaches and charming villas.
Just moments away from Maiori, one discovers a tiny fishing village, dotted with small houses and villas with well tended gardens, which has become an exclusive destination for bathers and holiday makers. Legend has it that Ercole was the village's first visitor, hence the name Erchie.
There are no more than a hundred inhabitants. Erchie remains, therefore, the ideal place in which to pass a few hours by the sea, on its small sandy beaches, a tiny paradise known principally to residents of Salerno, who are its most frequent visitors. To see: the Church of St Maria Assunta built on the ruins of the ancient Abbey of St Maria de Irchi, and the Medieval tower at the entrance to the village, now private property.
