La Meridiana Garlenda - Liguria

The mouth watering cuisine served here is the result of Chef Luigi Taglienti's innovative interpretation of traditional Mediterranean dishes prepared so as to exalt the flavours and perfumes of Liguria and using only the freshest locally sourced produce.

The "Bistrot de la Meridiana" offers delicious Ligurian fare in a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. Open for both lunch and dinner, in the warm summer months, the patio of the Bistrot is transformed in charming al fresco dining room. Edmondo Segre's passion for the world of wine has resulted in a cellar of great repute, featuring exceptional vintages from all the most prestigious producers and labels from the best new Italian wineries.

The breakfast room of the La Meridiana is a food lover's paradise with its gourmet buffet comprised of freshly baked brioches and cakes, endless varieties of bread, biscuits, home made jams, yogurt, fruit salad, freshly squeezed juices, the finest Italian prosciutto and an impressive selection of cheeses. The tea arrives direct from London's Fortnum and Mason. Coffee is a rich, full bodied Arabic blend. Salmon smoked on olive wood, warm quiches, and a glass of chilled Italian prosecco provide a special boost of energy with which to start the day.
