Bellevue Syrene and the Coup de Grâce'

Luigi II of Baviera, Empress Eugenie of France, the poet De Lamartine, Ivan Turgenev, duke Amedeo D'Aosta and the novelist Marguerite Yourcenar, who wrote her Coup de Grâce' whilst sojourning at the hotel, are just some of the illustrious personages to have graced the rooms of the Bellevue Syrene with their presence.

Seaside luxury in Sorrento

The elegant atmospheres of times past live on in Hotel Bellevue Syrene's sumptuous public halls, embellished with ornate frescoes and period furnishings.

It was at the turn of the century, that William Waldorf Astor commissioned the creation of the Villa Pompeiana, which today houses two magnificent function rooms and a colonnaded terrace, all of which provide ideal venues where to host glamorous wedding receptions, gala dinners, and banquets.

Beach and spa

From the hotel's large terrace, a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples can be seen. Almost directly beneath the terrace, Bellevue Syrene's private beach is the perfect place in which to relax and enjoy the sun and sea of Sorrento.

Hotel Bellevue Syrene's spacious bedrooms and suites are characterized by a sophisticated combination of classic and modern styles, home to both antique and contemporary designer furnishings.

All rooms have a balcony from where to admire a marvelous view of the sea. Suites boast large panoramic terraces overlooking the Bay of Naples.

Dream dining venues

Bellevue Syrene has a variety of eating venues, each one more beautiful than the other. The finest traditional Neapolitan cuisine is served at the hotel's Il Don Giovanni Restaurant. Guests dining in the Restaurant Gli Archi enjoy typical regional dishes in the light filled conservatory overlooking the sea.

Snack bar and restaurant during the day, cocktail bar with live music venue in the evening, La Pergola is a well established favorite with hotel guests, as is the wonderfully romantic Il Pino restaurant. Both restaurants are located on terraces directly above the sea.

Each day, an inviting selection of light snacks, fresh fruit, soft drinks, local wine, tea and coffee is offered, free of charge, in the hotel's Club Lounge
