The low resolution of the black and white images and the direction restricted to the technology of that period, with static shots and the few brightness, reveal the age of the recording but are, at the same time, fascinating. Someone could be amused by some stage choices or by the costumes of the brave warriors, but everybody will be impressed from the laudness of the voices of Leyla Gencer, in the part of Aida and Carlo Bergonzi, in the role of Radames.
