Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone Belgirate - Lago Maggiore

In 1827, this important Historical House, situated on the outskirts of the village of Belgirate and with a beautiful view over Lago Maggiore, was given as a wedding gift to princess Luisa Dal Pozzo della Cisterna from her bridegroom who chose this Villa to be their lake-dwelling residence.

Charm and romance are the characteristics of the Villa Dal Pozzo d'Annone, one of the oldest properties on the lake which, to this very day, perfectly preserves the flavour of the Victorian Age. All furniture, the origin of which spans the 15th to the 19th century, is of the highest quality. From the balconies of the villa's six suites, guests enjoy views of the lake and gardens abundant in fazalea, hydrangea, and rhododendron.

A swimming pool, and fitness area with gym, sauna and Turkish Bath are also located in the grounds. Golf lovers will appreciate the possibility to play at one of 7 most prestigious Golf clubs in the region.

A further 12 guest bedrooms, all boasting stunning views of Lake Maggiore, are situated in the "Borgo Ottocentesco". In a cluster of recently restored buildings within the park of Villa dal Pozzo, these attractive rooms once served as lodgings for the fishermen and gardeners who worked on the estate.

The original wine cellars of the Borgo Ottocentesco now house the "Stendhal" Bistrot and Wine bar, where excellent dishes of the Piedmont region, accompanied by a fine selection of local wines are served.
