This is how the Locanda dell'Amorosa came into being: an oasis of country peace among the rolling Siena hills that look down on the Chiana Valley. The ideal location in the heart of one of the most fascinating areas for art, culture and landscape.
In the area around the Locanda dell'Amorosa are Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, the Val d'Orcia with Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino, the producers of the great Tuscan wines, superb extra virgin olive oil; the fascinating "clay hills" of Siena with San Giovanni d'Asso's precious white truffles.

By Car: coming from any direction to Sinalunga, the Amorosa is well indicated by the road signs. It is 1,5 Km from the centre of town, located along the road linking Sinalunga to Torrita di Siena (SS n° 326)
From Florence or Rome: Take Autosole A1 motorway to the Valdichiana exit. Follow the signs to Sinalunga. Once arrived in town follow the signs to Chiusi and Chianciano. It is 8 km from the tollbooth.
From Siena or Perugia: either from the Siena-Bettolle highway or the Perugia Siena highway, exit at Sinalunga. Follow the signs to Chiusi and Chianciano. It is 2 km from the exit.
By train: there is also a train station in Sinalunga with quick and comfortable transportation to Chiusi (about half hour), from which one can arrive in Rome in a little more than an hour.
