Sumptuous Sophistication
Dating from the 1500s, Palazzo Ducale Venturi was completely renovated recently under the careful eye of Italy's Ministry of Culture, and the original star vaults in local Leccese stone and flagstone floors have been restored to their former splendor, and are offset by elegant antiques and impeccable furnishings and artwork.
Two antique salt ovens were also unearthed during the residence's restoration, where guests today can take cooking lessons to learn the secrets of preparing some of the Salento peninsula's most traditional dishes!
