La Scalinatella is a luxury boutique hotel offering guests to Capri the opportunity to experience world class hospitality in a setting of unparalleled beauty. The interiors of the Hotel La Scalinatella are filled with the light which pours in through the building's immense floor to ceiling windows. Polished marble and majolica floors, and details in wrought iron and gold add a luxurious touch to otherwise stylishly simple, decidedly Mediterranean, spaces. Each of the hotel's individually appointed bedrooms and suites has its own terrace with sea and Charterhouse view.

On the hotel's main terrace there is a swimming pool and restaurant where, at lunchtime, an excellent selection of local specialities and wines are served. Above daily rates for 2 persons are subject to change without notice and include: Continental Breakfast, Service and Taxes.

Low Season: from April 1st to May 17thnd and from September 23rd to October 31st 2012.
High Season: from May 18th to September 22nd 2012.
Easter Week (6-9 April 2012): during Easter period is required a minimum stay of 3 nights and must include the Saturday night.

Breakfast
The breakfast is served mainly in the room from 7.00am to 12.00 noon, a continental breakfast is always included in the room rate. The buffet breakfast is also included in the rate, it is served from 9:00am to 11.00 am on the terracce or around the pool. We prefer not to prepare a table for the buffet, our clients can select and order, at no extra charge, any of their preference. Everything will be prepared exclusively at moment accordingly to any particular desire of our clients.

Room service
The room service is offered 24 hours a day.

Check-in & Check-out
The recommended arrival time is at 3:00 pm. In case you arrive early in the morning please inform the reception in order to welcome you at best. The check-out is exspected at 12:00 noon. Our concierge will organize the departure and provide for baggage transportation and for the transfer of the clients for any destination by regular line connections or by private boat or helicopter. For a late check out the Hotel offers alternative solutions in case the room will be not available.

Children
La Scalinatella is an intimate, boutique hotel, perfect for honeymooners and couples in search of romance, relaxation and tranquility - and is not suitable for those traveling with children.

Cancellation policy

No penalty will be applied for cancellations received at least 30 days prior to scheduled date of arrival. After this time, a penalty equivalent to 50% of the total value of the room nights booked will be applied (with a minimum charge of 1 night).
For cancellations received on the same day of the scheduled arrival, for reductions of the period booked and in the case of no shows, the hotel will charge the entire cost of the booked stay.
