La Chiusa delle More Peschici

The Chiusa delle More country hotel occupies a fabulous old farmhouse situated in the heart of Puglia's Gargano National Park, between the Umbra forest and the sea, just minutes away from the town of Peschici and 500 meters away from the sea and the beaches. Surrounded by century old olive groves and lush Mediterranean vegetation, the hotel offers breathtaking views out across the Southern Italian countryside.

The Farmhouse, which dates all the way back to the 16th century, has been lovingly restored and transformed in 10 suite hotel by owners Antonella and Francesco Martucci. Each and every room has been individually furnished and designed so as to offer maximum comfort.

A generous breakfast of traditional local pastries, ricotta cheese, aromatic honey and freshly squeezed orange juice provides the perfect start to the day. Excellent home cooking is served at Chiusa delle More's "Veranda" restaurant, where to choose from a selection of regional dishes prepared using only the freshest locally sourced ingredients.

During the day, guests set off to explore the area on mountain bikes provided free of charge by the hotel or head to the nearby beach. For those loathe to leave the peace and quiet of Chiusa delle More, there is an attractive swimming pool located in the gardens.
