Gioia Resort is the dream come true of a couple who had long thought of opening a Bed and Breakfast in the center of Marina di Ragusa just steps from the sea and with a cheerful and bright decor that reflected their sunny personalities. In short, a spot where they could welcome guests for a few days of peace and quiet in their beloved city.

On the sea shore

Each of the B&B's rooms is unique, but united in a marine-inspired decor: blue, turquoise, and coral red are the main colors enlivening the Gioia Resort, and a common theme in the linens, draperies, furnishings, and bathrooms. Both relaxing and energizing, just like the perfect vacation. One of the rooms is decorated entirely in lighthouses of all shapes and sizes, for true lovers of the sea!

The highlight of the day happens each morning with breakfast on the terrace: a sweet meal based on the traditional Sicilian cuisine, with freshly-made pastries, bread, and preserves. English breakfast is available upon request.

To the sea by bike

Why not take a leisurely bike ride down to the sea? There is a bicycle rental next door to the Gioa Resort where guests can pick up a bike and explore Marina di Ragusa on two wheels. Pedal along the waterfront or with the evening crowds taking their traditional stroll along the main streets of the city, lined with cafès, restaurants, and pubs. This is a wonderful way to get a taste of the festive resort vibe in one of Sicily's coastal cities.
