Casina Gialla is located in the heart of Puglia's Val di Cupa, an incredibly fertile valley once referred to as the "Tivoli Gardens of Lecce" and where, from the late 19th century onwards, Salento's bourgeois classes came to spend their summer holidays.

In recent years, many of the area's old farmhouses, villas and simple rural homes have been transformed into fabulous hotels and farm stays. Casina Gialla was, itself, originally a farmhouse, the old granary and bakery of which have been converted in the apartments of today's guest house.

Despite being equipped with every modern comfort, from wireless internet connectivity to 32" LCD satellite televisions and, in the "Casa Baobab", hydromassage bath with chromotherapy, Casa Gialla's three apartments still conserve the simple charm of Puglia's old country homes to perfection; in the form of thick, exposed stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and traditional rustic furnishings.
