The pleasure to feel at home in a "palazzo" original of the end of 16th century, nowadays transformed into a hotel. In the very heart of the city, a few steps from the Grand Canal and the major museums. In the rooms, pieces of furniture of the Thirties and Fourties, and others expressly designed.
In the peaceful and refined district of the Accademia, separated by only a bridge from the San Marco area, the new Hotel Ca' Pisani, a small 4 star jewel of a hotel is characterised by an intelligent and loving re-interpretation of the style of the Thirties, and by the artistic figurative-geometric expressions of Futurism, inserted unexpectedly into the context of a Venetian Ca' (house). The present restorations are the work of Architect Roberto L. Canovaro, who has recuperated the original architectural volumes and the characteristic elements of the ancient building, transforming it into a 29 room hotel and re-interpreting its interiors, in art-deco style in a contemporary key note. As a whole, the style is inspired by the avant-guard trends which blossomed in the period between the two Wars. The lobby recalls the essential forms of Futurism, with a wealth of marble and walnut wood; the walls of the rooms are geometrically articulated by painting treatments that bring to mind the graphics of Mondrian, in soft tones like pastel mustard yellow, terracotta, orange, beige and gray. Eye catchers in the rooms, are elements in silver and amaranth, leather armchairs, expressly designed wardrobes and "supporting furniture", and beds from the period from 1930 to 1940, all original pieces, each one different from the next, and all patiently collected from all over Italy.
Among the 29 rooms, 4 are junior suites, while two studios are available with loft sleeping areas. In the penthouse there are three bizarre rooms, with exceptionally beautiful views, and a Turkish bath available for the use by guests, a feature which the grand Venetian homes had, called "stua" (stove). Here one will also find the roof- terrace solarium, which opens out over the rooftops of Venice. The rooms are equipped with the most up-to-date technology: remote control door opening with transponder key, room darkening by electric curtains, direct telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar, room safe, personal computer hook-up, ISDN lines, sprinklers and smoke detectors. A fax machine is available upon request. The bathrooms are in an innovative material called "starlight" which creates the effect of small shining stars; and they are equipped with hydro-systems, hair-driers and towel warmers.

The Hotel has a wine & cheese bar, which takes its name 'La Rivista' from an original flower design of 1925 of the Futuristic painter Fortunato Depero, which together with other designs of the same artist decorate the space.The Rivista is an extravagant café, opening out to the exterior, with an entrance that is highlighted by a large polychrome marble composition inspired by futuristic themes;bamboo of the flooring, the leather sofas in amaranth, the blue star-light material and walnut woods.

TAXI BOAT - The private taxi boat service is the fastest and most comfortable, but it is also quite expensive. It is available from any terminal apart from the "Tronchetto" that only authorised taxis have a yellow stripe on both sides and a number.
ALILAGUNA Public service that connects the Marco Polo airport with the "Zattere". The ride lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes and stops are done at: Murano, Lido, Arsenale, S. Marco and "Zattere".
From the train station to Ca' Pisani:

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION From the train station (Santa Lucia), Ca' Pisani is reachable either with vaporetto line 82 or line 1, direction San Marco. Get off at Accademia, from here there will be a short walk for abaout 50 meters.
From P.le Roma to Ca'Pisani:
