The Relais alla Corte del Sole is located right on the border between the regions of Umbria and Tuscany, in what was once an old monastic hamlet, masterly transformed in a romantic hotel of quiet undisputed charm.
Although the main ecclesiastical complex was built in the 16th century, the original settlement dates back to the 14th century when it served as resting station along the much travelled pilgrim route linking Chiusi with Castiglione del Lago and Arezzo.
A meticulous restoration project has returned the historic architectural forms in the Relais Alla Corte del Sole to their original splendour, offering guests a truly unique environment in which to sojourn.
