Hotel Elephant Bressanone

Hotel Elephant's restaurant is comprised of three dining rooms, in each of which there is a characteristic Tyrolean Stube. The hotel provides the charming venue for wedding receptions and banquets but also for small scale meetings and corporate events which are hosted in its attractive function room and, in the summer season, in the grounds of the property.

Hotel Elephant's extensive park provides a delightfully peaceful setting for a large open air swimming pool and tennis courts. Other leisure facilities available to guests include a wellness zone complete with Turkish bath, sauna, fitness area and solarium.

The origins of the hotel date back to the 16th century. In 1550, when the property was known as the Am Holden Felde Inn, the Archduke Massimiliano of Austria kept an Indian elephant, present from the King of Portugal to the Hapsburg family, in the stables here. From that time on, the Inn became known as Hotel Elephant.
