An oval plate represents Faenza's welcome to visitors during the fascinating tour of its ceramic workshops. It is embedded in the façades and identifies ceramic workshops and ateliers. The design represented inside the plate shows two interlacing hands and dates back to the 16th Century ceramic "love" jugs, plates, cake stands and pitchers, donated as engagement and wedding gifts.
