Dorotea, almost as if to underline her desire for change decided to include Capri among the many destinations where she cultivates her many cultural, artistic and, las but not least, business interests. And so became a citizen of Capri.

Dorotea manages the jewellry store on the charming Via Le Botteghe, close to the famous little Piazzetta square, a boutique in typcal minimalist New York style, the windows and showcases of which are filled with neacklaces, bracalets, jewellry and various types of pearl earring as well as rare pieces of coral and much more besides. As refined and sophisticated as the girl in Vermeer's famous painting, they christened her "the girl wuth the pearl earring", just like the girl in the famous painting. Because pearls have played an important part in the life of this highly talented and energetic woman.

No less important are the semi- precious pieces, unique designs created by Dorotea and which can be worn by any type of woman who loves a typically casual yet elegant style.
