Villa Polese is located in the Massa Lubrense coast facing the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida and the gulf of Napoli. It is just above the sea (only 100 steps...) and it is set in one of the most astonishing corners of the coast. Ten minute drive from Massa Lubrense, 15 minute from Sorrento and 30 to 40 minute from the Amalfi coast Positano and Ravello. A number of traditional restaurants, as well as the Michelin 2-star Don Alfonso, one of the Italy's best restaurant.
The villa is built with 4 levels and is divided into two houses. The villa is characterised by very ample terraces and balconies that look on to the sea and enjoy the breathtaking panorama of mountain Vesuvius on the right, Capri and the "faraglioni" on the left and Procida and Ischia in front.
From the long paved entrance with car parking, you can see the "pine terrace", and the pool over the sea. The swimming pool, 10 m x 6 m large, and 1,5 to 3,5 m deep, running from May to October, is filled with seawater. The terraces around the pool, directly imposing on the sea, require care for children, since no fences are built. Bathing in the swimming pool is an unique experience and you may have the impression of being suspended over the sea. The swimming pool has internal lights for night swimming. Only 100 steps divide you from the incredible independent sea access of the villa.
The house has an independent telephone line, at full disposal of the guests, also for international calls. It is possible to connect via modem portable PCs for Internet connection. At request, the owner will provide a fully equipped PC station, with Internet connection.
The big living room faces one of the big terraces with two large French windows that look on to Capri (and the faraglioni) and the mountain Vesuvius.
The room has a large fireplace, that becomes the centre of the living space. The living room is equipped with an HIFI system with a CD player and a record player set, and there's an ample collection of classical records. In the corner of the room there's a large screen TV, linked to a satellite antenna enabling to watch the major international and Italian channels. The dining room, in a panoramic position, has a table for 10 sitting diners. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house has 4 double rooms with independent bathroom.
