Zephyrus - Vintage Tourism Chiusi

Once upon a time there was a car... but not a usual car: a vintage convertible car or... why not, a brand new convertible one; a prestigious car for an holiday in the unknown Italy, following the Mille Miglia Route, the Francigena Route, the Wine Roads, tasting the ancient flavors of the genuine Italian cooking, resting in renovated farm houses or in medieval hamlets...

We are Augusto e Simonetta Colacicchi, a couple living together with a big German shepherd, Ettore, and a little tabby cat, Bizzo in a farmhouse in Chiusi near Siena, in an area on the border between Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.
We have always been keen on vintage and modern sports cars, and we use to drive along country roads looking for unusual landscapes, little ancient hamlets or (why not !) restaurants with a good homely cooking, where you can rediscover the ancient tastes.
We often involved our town friends and so we decide to involve other peolple.
Lots of people loves the countryside, the historical sites, the good cooking and, above all, the very special cars! But it often happens that people has no time or means to organize this kind of trips, so that's why we decided to give everybody the opportunity to feel uncommom sensations, to give the opportunity to drive themselves a car they have always seen on photos.
That's how started our job or our hobby, we don't know how to call it, because for us it's as if we ideally escorted our new friends in an unusual journey.
Just one advise: please look after our cars as if they were yours or... your parent's cars!

Our tourist package included:
- The vintage convertible car rental. For this reason our cars are mostly two seats cars from the 60's and 70's, perfectly restaured.
- The Road-Book, a personalized travel book, bounded in leather and hand-made, with tourist information on the area and detailed itineraries to make each and every route an inforgetable experience in the heart of Italy.
- The 24 hours assitance for any need in any moment
- The Hotel or Farmhouse Accomodation, for two people in double room, in personally selected hotels or farmhouses.
- The Automobile Liability Insurance and Theft/Fire insurance included.
Among the optional services:
- transfer from/to the main italian airports and train stations, clients'car garaging.

The Road Book is a travel book containing all the informations that a local can give to a tourist and the places recommended are usually not included in any published tourist guide. It contains recommended restaurant where you can still find a genuine cooking or real handicraftsman's shops. Inside, detailed routes and places of interest have been carefully chosen by our company to make each and every route an unforgettable experience in the heart of Italy.
The Road Book is an efficacious instrument presented to our customer, it is personalized for every crew, bounded in leather and hand-sewn.
