Villa Leone Anacapri - Capri Island

Villa Leone is an elegant residence situated in Anacapri, on the island of Capri. Built at the start of the last century for one of Naples' most influential aristocratic families, the villa is distributed on four levels, surrounded by marvellous sea view terraces and a garden with panoramic swimming pool. The villa is a mere five minutes from the center of Anacapri and within easy walking distance of the Grotta Azzurra, one of Capri's most visited tourist attractions.

Villa Leone displays many of the architectural features found in Capri's most elegant houses, as well as the occasional detail of evident Moorish inspiration. From the large patio, complete with kitchen area tiled in Neapolitan majolica, guests access two of the villa's four bedrooms, both with high vaulted ceilings and graceful arches. Each room has its own private bathroom. From the windows of the large, light-filled living room magnificent views of the sea can be admired.

Oak panelling and antique book cabinets characterise the master suite, once used as a studio. Moving down to the lowest level of the Villa Leone, there is a spacious terrace with gazebo and an old well, almost completely covered by bougainvillea. Another two bedrooms with private bathrooms are situated on this level.

An additional two bedrooms with private bathrooms and kitchen are available in an independent unit. Villa Leone is rented on a weekly basis.
