The Hotel Therasia Resort is situated on the island of Vulcano, one of Sicily's seven Aeolian islands. The town of Vulcano and the island's main beach are situated approximately 1km away from the hotel. From its panoramic position on the promontory of Vulcanello, the Therasia Resort enjoys superb views of all the islands of the archipelago, from the nearby Lipari - a mere 5 minute boat ride away- to Stromboli, Salina, Panarea, Filicudi and Alicudi.
Vulcano is easily reached from the Sicilian ports of Milazzo, Messina, and Palermo. Boats from main land Italy depart from Reggio Calabria. In the summer months, connections are also available from Naples and Cefalù.
