The Monacelle estate is situated in Selva di Fasano, in the fairytale landscape of the Itria valley, the hills of which slope gently down towards the nearby Adriatic coast. Within easy driving distance of the city of Bari, Hotel Tenuta Monacelle is surrounded by olive, pine, cherry and oak trees, all of which shelter the cluster of trulli; the traditional dwellings of Apulia which form the main nucleus of the hotel.

Once simple rural dwellings, the thirty trulli have been successfully transformed in comfortable and tastefully furnished apartments, each comprised of bedroom, living room, and bathroom. Within the 15 hectare estate, surrounded by beautifully scented pine trees, there are also a number of Masserie: country houses all built in accordance with the local architectural traditions.

At Tenuta Monacelle's superb restaurant, Chef Sergio Rossetti creates dishes which allow guests to discover all the authentic aromas and flavors of Apulia.
