Podere Carceroni enjoys an enviable position in the heart of Maremma, in the lush countryside immediately outside Cinigiano, attractive little town just a few kilometers from Grosseto. Close to Mount Amiata, the guest house is no more than an hour's drive away from all of Tuscany's most famous coastal resorts: Castiglione della Pescaia, Orbetello, the Argentario, and the islands of Elba and Giglio.
Heading inland, visitors soon find themselves in Val d'Orcia, valley where a number of Italy's finest wines are produced and home to the legendary Tuscan hill top towns of Pienza, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d'Orcia and Montepulciano. The splendid medieval city of Siena is situated just a little further North.
