La Pia Dama Map

La Pia Dama is a period residence situated in a medieval castle in the Tuscan countryside. Named after the legendary figure of Dame Pia of Tolomei, gentlewoman mentioned by Dante in his Divine Comedy, the residence is located just outside Sinalunga, small town in the heart of the Valdichiana, and half way between Siena and Arezzo.
Sinalunga is close to a number of Tuscany's most popular tourist destinations. The hilltop towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano are all situated in the vicinity. The city of Florence lies just slightly further North. From La Pia Dama, Umbria's Lake Trasimeno, Cortona and Perugia are all within easy driving distance.
