Hotel Onda Verde Praiano - Amalfi Coast

Hotel Onda Verde is a charming family-run establishment in the pretty little fishing town of Praiano, almost exactly half way between Positano and Amalfi, on Italy's legendary Amalfi Coast.

Situated in five separate villas, Hotel Onda Verde's bedrooms are all large enough to include a comfortable sitting area, complete with writing desk, and are tastefully decorated in classic Mediterranean style. Guests are unlikely to forget the view from their bedroom windows; be it a unique glimpse of Praiano's Saracen Tower, the sea, or the island of Capri.

Delicious local cuisine is served at Onda Verde's sea view restaurant. Home-made pasta, the freshest fish, and fruits and vegetables grown in the hotel's kitchen garden are used in dishes guaranteed to delight the senses. The wine list also has a distinctly local feel; featuring all the best of the region's wines and, of course, the Amalfi Coast's wonderful Limoncello liqueur.

The beach is just 50 meters from the hotel. Here guests can rent sun loungers, dec k chairs and beach umbrellas, and enjoy a drink or some light refreshment at one of the popular beach bars.

When not lazing on the beach, guests staying at Hotel Onda Verde have every opportunity to explore Praiano and the nearby towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Day excursions to the islands of Ischia and Capri depart from the landing stage close to the hotel.
