Fattoria La Striscia Arezzo

Just outside the historic center of Arezzo, amidst the vineyards of the Colli Aretini hillside, one finds the Fattoria La Striscia. Five welcoming apartments have been created in the buildings of an ancient farmstead dating back to the 1500's, skilfully restored and transformed in beautiful country residence.

Guests of the Fattoria La Striscia will be easily seduced by the peace and the tranquillity, by the romantic atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside, by the elegance of every minute detail in rooms furnished with rare antiques, and by the charming exteriors.

The scenery surrounding the farmstead evokes the enchanting landscapes of Piero della Francesca, Raffaello and Leonardo. A pathway through the vineyards leads to the large swimming pool, where to abandon oneself in moments of complete relaxation, stretched out on comfortable sun loungers.

The Italian-style Liberty garden of the Fattoria La Striscia, encircling a delightful water feature with fountain, provides another oasis of tranquillity, furnished with chaise Lang and occasional tables so as to become a veritable open air drawing room.

On request, tastings of regional cuisine and Occhini wine are organised. The Occhini wine, produced from the grapes grown in the Fattoria La Striscia vineyards, was awarded the prestigious "2 Glasses" in the 2006 edition of the Gambero Rosso guide.
