Domus Laeta Giungano

An enchanting historic residence dating back to the 17th century, Domus Laeta is situated in Giungano, a small town close to Paestum and bordering the National Park of Cilento. Once home of the noble d'Aulisio family, members of which still own the property, and only recently transformed in hotel, Domus Laeta conserves a great deal of its original features, including the watch towers, stables, store rooms, arcades, courtyards, vineyards and fruit orchards.

Rooms once used as servants' quarters have been transformed in delightful bedrooms, suites, and an apartment for today's guests. The interiors are imbued with the charming atmosphere of bygone days. Domus Laeta has a number of attractive reception rooms for meetings and social gatherings, a library, and a dining room where, on request, gala dinners and wine tastings are held.

Guests relax beneath the frescoed open gallery, by the side of the pool created within an ancient water reservoir, and on the hotel's panoramic terrace. From Domus Laeta's terraced garden a stunning view of the sea and the valley of the temples can be admired.
