Bloom B&B Venezia - Veneto

Bloom is a unique bed & breakfast, where you will to find a stunning combination of classic 18th century Venetian opulence and the essential forms characteristic of contemporary designer furnishings. Bloom is, in fact, both an ultra modern urban retreat and an authentic period residence. In the 1476, the building was part of Venice's ancient Scuola dei Lanieri (School of Wool Making). The building was later transformed into elegant residences for the Venetian aristocracy.

In 2007, when she decided to open her bed and breakfast in Venice, Alessandra Vazzoler had a very clear vision of how it should be: a combination of 18th century Venetian extravagance and functional contemporary design. Bloom's bedrooms are, in fact, a fabulous display of shimmering silks, plush velvets, artisan crafted furniture, majolica fireplaces and polished wooden floors, all beautifully complimented by sophisticated lighting design and state-of-the-art technology.

Although Venice has an incredible number of hotels, few can claim to have a terrace as panoramic as that of the B&B Bloom. Transformed into a stylish outdoor living space, Bloom's roof top terrace has a magnificent view over the whole of the district of San Marco, which is dominated by the unmistakable silhouette of St Mark's cathedral. Part sitting room, part library, part open bar, the small indoor lounge facing onto the terrace is the ideal place in which to browse through the papers or chat amongst friends and other guests over a flute of chilled prosecco.

At Bloom B&B breakfast is served in a small dining room, which overlooks the Church of Santo Stefano. During the day, this attractive room functions as an elegant lounge where residents can meet or simply relax and unwind after a day's sightseeing.
